Brosius Packing List
Camp Office
The office provides mail services, sells Camp Brosius gifts, and offers general assistance. If guests experience maintenance concerns such as light bulb replacement and plumbing problems, office staff schedule repairs.
Office Hours
Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. (check-in) and 9:00-10:00 p.m.
Daily office hours will be posted Sunday evening
Check-in
You may check in at Brosius between 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Remember that Wisconsin is on Central Daylight Time. A buffet dinner will be held from 5:00-6:00 p.m., followed by Camper Orientation and the Opening Campfire.
Check-out
Guests must be checked out by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A continental breakfast will be served from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Programming
Children's programming, adult programming and nursery hours are 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-4:00 p.m. daily. Generally, Camp Brosius will not arrange childcare for you.
Available services
Wireless Computer Connections Free wireless connections are available in most areas in camp. Laptops or computers are not provided.
Golf carts will be made available for those with special needs. Contact Wendy Iskander for more information.
Camp Brosius staff will make every effort to accommodate guests' boats. Please notify Wendy Iskander one month in advance if you plan on bringing your boat.
Laundry Brosius does not have laundry facilities on the campgrounds for camper use. Commercial laundry facilities and services are located in the town of Elkhart Lake.
Meal Times
Sunday dinner is served at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday morning continental breakfast is provided from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
All other meals are served as follows:
Breakfast 8:00-9:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Dinner 6:00-6:45 p.m.
Guest Meal Tickets
Visiting friends or family are welcome to dine at Brosius. Please reserve space and arrange for payment in advance at the camp office. Guest meal tickets are: Breakfast--$5.00; lunch--$10.00; dinner--$15.00.
Morning Coffeehouse
Coffee will be served at 7:00 a.m. each day in the Sputh Round House.
Soft Drink Machines
Soft drink machines are located on the porch of Rath Hall and near the dining hall. Please deposit cans and bottles in the appropriate recycling bins.
Ice
Ice is available outside the building adjacent to the dining hall and on the porch of Rath Hall.
First Aid and Emergencies
The main first-aid station is located in the office and is equipped to treat minor injuries and ailments. Other first-aid sites are located throughout the camp and are visible and accessible to guests. In the event of more serious emergencies, emergency services will be contacted.
Guests should familiarize themselves with risk-management and emergency action plans upon arrival at camp. Information will be made available in guest packets and during orientation.
In Case of Fire
Smoke alarms are in each cabin unit. Fire extinguishers are available for use with small wastebasket-type fires. If a major fire begins, guests should vacate premises and notify a staff member immediately. For the safety of all guests, smoking is prohibited in all camp buildings.
Emergency Notification
Should a camp-wide emergency arise, guests will be notified via camp’s public address system. Further instructions about what to do and where to go will be given at that time.

Community Description
Crystal clear waters. Charming village-like community. Nearby shopping, attractions, galleries, and spas. Great restaurants. Live music on the lakeshore. Billing itself as Wisconsin’s Legendary Getaway, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, has all of that and more.
Guests may enjoy a quiet walk or a vigorous jog to the village via a pathway that follows the shoreline, taking residents and visitors all the way around the lake (approximately 4.5 miles round-trip). Birdwatchers observe unique species in Broughton Sheboygan Marsh Park, and hikers or mountain bikers will find plenty of challenges in Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine State Forest. Race fans can witness professional drivers testing their skills at the world-class Road America facility. For golf options, guests can choose from a variety of great courses.
